Low Iron Float Glass

Low-iron float glass has a high transmittance. Soda-lime float glass products are engineered for use in a variety of solar applications. It can be also used as deposit substrate of TCO glass or as the cover of the CIGS, CIS, CdTe, a-Si thin film PV Modules.  It also can be utilized in Flat-plate solar collector and Solar reflection mirrors.  For 4 mm or thinner glass products,its visible light transmittance≥91.8%,Solar direct transmission≥90.4%(ISO 9050) . This is attributable to its low iron content and glass chemical composition, allowing it to be tempered without spontaneous breakage.

Thick On-Line Low-E Coating Float Glass:

We use the world’s advanced CVD technology (Chemical Vapor Deposition )to coat a low- emissivity  functional layer on float glass surface during the glass production.

Product performance:

1.In summer:Low- emissivity functional layer will reduce sun’s heat energy, allowing the interior to remain more cool and comfortable.

2. In winter: The interior heat will be reflected back within building by utilizing low- emissivity functional layer, reducing heat loss and increasing heating efficiency. 

3. High visible light transmittance and low emissivity (E≤0.18);

4. Easily processed; it can be tempered, hot-bent, etc;

5. No need to remove coating edge when making insulate glass units.

6. The tin-oxide coating has stable mechanical properties and the durable coating does not oxidize.

7. Coating can come in direct contact with conveyor rollers without damage.

8. Can be directly applied to laminated glass production. U value reaches 3.4 W/m2K when the layer is used in the fourth surface.

This is the first Ultra-Clear On-Line Low-E coating float glass in China.
